I graduated from the Faculty of Law at Eötvös Loránd University in July, 2021. After graduation, I started working at the legal department of a publicly listed company, where I had the opportunity to have an inside look on the day-to-day operation and legal tasks of a public company with all the relevant capital market regulations and with an extensive professional experience in its legal compliance. I also gained insight into the works of cross-border M&A transactions and participated in capital market transactions. Given the company’s foreign subsidiaries, I have had the opportunity to use legal English daily in my dealings with foreign legal colleagues. During my university studies, I believed in the importance of applying all the theoretical legal knowledge I had gained in the university into practice so during my university years, I could learn about the fundamentals of a lawyer’s work as a legal trainee while working with an attorney-at-law practicing civil law, mainly in the areas of company law and real estate law. I joined AegisLegal as a junior associate in February, 2023, where I strengthen the capital markets department of the law firm by focusing on company listings (IPOs) and advising listed companies on capital markets law. As a member of the capital markets team, I took part in the preparation of company listings with the relevant legal documentation (Information Document, Prospectus, other company documents related to the IPO and to the company registration process), I also assisted in the organization of general meetings of public
companies by advising on the timeline of the general meetings regarding the complex
legislation, drafting the relevant documents and managing the administration process of the
necessary changes with the competent court of registration.
